The food was excellent, comparable with some of the best restaurants I’ve eaten in and the service and cocktails were perfect. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and professional. Couldn’t recommend Cooked by Callum highly enough. We booked Callum for my parents’ surprise 60th birthday party and from start to finish the whole experience was absolutely brilliant. Callum was so easy to work with in the lead-up to the night and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. He catered for allergies without any fuss whatsoever, which made such a difference, and the standard of cooking was genuinely exceptional. Every single dish was absolutely beautiful – not one plate went back with food left on it all night! The quality, presentation and attention to detail were second to none and it genuinely felt like we were being served food from a high-end restaurant in our own home. Callum also brought along Ryan, who looked after the cocktails, and Seaneen, who hosted the evening, and the three of them were just fantastic. So friendly, professional and genuinely lovely people to have in your home. They went above and beyond throughout the entire night, the service was seamless, the cocktails were incredible and somehow, after serving an entire dinner party, they left the kitchen absolutely spotless! We had never done private dining before and genuinely didn’t know what to expect, but it completely exceeded anything we had imagined. It is such an incredible alternative to going out for a meal – you get high-end restaurant quality food and service while still having the privacy and comfort of your own home. We could completely relax, enjoy the food and drinks and spend the evening together without anyone having to worry about cooking, serving or clearing up. For the quality of the food, service and the overall experience, we also thought it was excellent value for money. It made an already special occasion feel even more memorable and we will 100% be doing it again. A massive thank you to Callum, Ryan and Seaneen for making my parents’ surprise 60th such a brilliant night. He was so accommodating throughout, my father is partially paralysed and the date had to be changed several times due to dad’s health. We let Callum treat us to a special birthday meal for my dad. The food was incredible from a top calibre chef that has worked in some of our favourite restaurants. I think the most impressive aspect of the evening was the Callum left our kitchen probably cleaner than when he arrived!
